Hey everybody, this is Michael with Gimbal Automation. I'm the president and founder and today I want to talk to you about one of our most popular integration products. This is the Instant Solenoid Kit. So the Instant Solenoid kit basically serves to make integration really easy for you for integrating with your machine to control pneumatics. This is something you can do manually, but to be honest, it's pretty complicated and we recommend most of our clients by the Instant Solenoid Kit to make integration of Reeves. The way that this works, you're going to start with the base unit, you're just going to magnet it. External to your machine and then from there, if you have a host machine or something similar with relays in its control, we're just going to plug these directly into the IO board with half specifically make sure you're getting the IO kit if your machine is newer than 2019 because we need to buy those relay separately. Basically what we're doing with these signals here is that we're going to have we're monitoring the state of the relays on the host control. And if you have, you know, brother fanfic or anything with a 24 Volt, we have an external really adapter kit to work there as well. And from there, we monitor those state the state of those relays rather. And when those relays are triggered, that enables us to see that we should have our solenoids on. So this is fully optically isolated, meaning that you're not going to break your board. There's no risk. There's no power really going through the actual board on your machine. When we're seeing an M code, when an M code rather triggers the machine or is triggered by the machine control and we see that on this device, this device is going to automatically power the correct. And that means we're going to switch air on. We're going to switch air on or off depending on what the state of the machine says. So we have two solenoids inside of this machine. There's solenoid one at the top and solenoid 2 at the bottom. These are both two way solenoids, which basically means that they can flow air both in and out in a lot of applications. So you're mounting one of our Rotary bypass strippers on your machine. You only need one airline. And in that case you're just going to plug off the normally flows line and then only run that singular airline. Out of port B, which says flows energized on the, we're also going to basically plum in the air on the other side. You're going to have the top one for small node one and then the bottom push fit connector is going to be for solenoid 2. Most of these are going to come with these little vented adjustment guys on the back. These little NPT vented adjusters are going to allow you to change the rate of flow. So if you want your bikes to, for instance, close or open more slowly, you can adjust these on the back. All of the correct solenoid to adjust that open and close rate. One really cool feature that comes with the Instant Soit as an option is the optional override pendant. Now this is super handy and we encourage anyone doing a lot of setups doing anything other than say 1000 parts per month of a production part using our automation systems. We encourage almost all clients to buy this. The reason the pendant is really handy is that you know there is a little bit of setup time that's involved in getting your automation set up and you know you're going to probably open and close your gripper 20 times, open and close your vice 20 times. And what this allows you to do is just magnet it onto the front of the machine and then you have a switch. That switch is an override switch that will always manually trigger the error into the other state. So basically when we're turning on on the error, that which can happen either from, you know, this little pin cable that's monitoring in the state of your relays or from the switch, the override switch here we're going to swap air from flowing out upward A into port B. And that's going to allow us to control virtually any device. This is really handy because, you know, let's say you have to tear down your production automation setup and now you want to run 100 parts manually rather than going into your control, typing in MDI and 55 to open device M-65 to close the vice and doing that, you know, 100 times each for the entire run of components. Instead, your operator can just flip the switch on and off. And if you're doing the full automation setup, it essentially means that you can just use these switches rather than messing with the MDI code a whole bunch of. Times in the 30 to 30 minutes to 2 hour process of setting up. So yeah, that's the instant solenoid kit. The goal of this is to take setting up solenoids to integrate our automation systems and turn it from a four hour process of wiring in your own solenoids to literally a 5 minute process. It's really simple and that's essentially everything that you need to know for the instance solenoid kit.
