The Edition is a wonderful experience! The must taste menu and drinks coupled with the wonderful friendly staff! Our server James was the best! Personable and fully versed in the menu. He was patient and recommended almost every drink and dish ordered. Will be coming back for his impeccable service (with a smile and laugh). 10/10(Thursday hostess were also the best !!)

I recently stayed at The West Hollywood Edition and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my stay feel luxurious from start to finish. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, especially the pool, which quickly became my favorite place to relax. The atmosphere by the pool was perfect—chic and serene, with amazing service that added to the experience.I also want to give a special thank you to Brea, who was exceptionally helpful during my stay. Her attention to detail and professionalism were truly impressive.Overall, my stay at The West Hollywood Edition was nothing short of perfect, and I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an elevated and enjoyable experience.

We had another wonderful experience visiting The Roof for dinner! It is always nice to valet our car out front and the staff are super respectful. Kaylee was very nice and made sure we were offered water while we waited for our car to come out. Marcel M. was very quick at retrieving our car and very friendly! Love the valet service here!

I recently stayed at the West Hollywood EDITION Hotel in Beverly Hills, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of West Hollywood, making it easy to explore the area. The staff at this hotel are superb – friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel itself is incredibly modern, with sleek and stylish design throughout. My room was fantastic, offering both comfort and luxury.Service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. One of the highlights was the amazing rooftop bar, which provides stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere.Overall, I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

An amazing hotel in every way. The signature scent is fantastic, the staff is kind and kept the rooftop bar open late for our VIP gathering, and the front desk staff even stored the luggage for our visitors who came to meet us but were not staying at the location. We will absolutely be back.

I had an exceptional stay at the Edition Hotel in West Hollywood. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was outstanding. Jesus, in particular, was exceptionally attentive during check-in, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with a warm and welcoming demeanor. He truly embodied the spirit of the Edition's commitment to excellent service. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms that offer both comfort and luxury. The amenities were top-notch, and the atmosphere was serene yet sophisticated. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything West Hollywood has to offer.Overall, my experience at the Edition was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of West Hollywood with exceptional service. Thank you to Jesus and the entire team for making my visit so memorable!

Overall, the West Hollywood Edition Hotel offers a mixed experience. While the location is favorable for rooms facing the back of the hotel, there are noticeable drawbacks. Our Loft Terrace room was impressive, large and clean, with beautiful long balcony and views of downtown LA and Beverly Hills contributing positively to the overall ambiance. The rooftop pool adds to the allure of the establishment. However, the service falls short of expectations, our room was not ready until 415pm, we did not receive turndown service and the room was missing robes, the valet team is solid though. The condition of the hallways is disappointing, with need for new flooring. For those seeking a blend of location, aesthetics, and service, the West Hollywood Edition Hotel is a solid place but may not fully deliver on all fronts.

Quite possible the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in!All I can really say to summarise is ‘WOW’My husband and I came as part of our honeymoon for a long weekend.Every single detail was so carefully thought of and executed so well. From the beginning:- The lobby bar was amazing (drinks and service there too was fantastic)- Check-in was fast and seamless- Our room was unreal, super clean and so much nicer than we had expected (even better than the photos)- We had a drink in the lobby and then went up to the rooftop bar - exceptional views, food, service and drinks. A must visit.- We went to the rooftop pool (which is nice and chilled, had a bit of a vibe) again, service, food and drinks were superb.- The management have it so right here - Bre and Charlie have got a great team.My husband and I have travelled the world and stayed in amazing places, but would always lack something. The West Hollywood Edition has it all, thank you for quite literally the best vacation and stay of our lives. It will be hard to top! Can’t wait to come back and stay. Also, the location is amazing! So close to everything

I went to the rooftop bar last night & had two tasty mocktails! The bartenders were both were pleasant (and cute), the view is picturesque & overall, the staff are all really pleasant! The bathroom was clean as well which is always very important! Would recommend this as a date place or to go with a small group of friends.

I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the clean and modern rooms and common areas, as well as the amenities. I have almost always been disappointed by hotel restaurants and bars. Ardor as well as the roof bar are both phenomenal--the types of places that you visit for the food and ambience, not just because you are staying at the hotel they are located at.The staff took their time getting to know our preferences and were quite attentive. In particular Edward, one of the managers is exceptional with his customer service, knowledge, and first-class manners. This man deserves a promotion. I haven't had this good of service since I was last in Spain. Also, Charlie at the front desk was wonderful. The front desk and the first 2 minutes in a property can make you feel welcome--not not. Charlie was unbelievably professional and welcoming--my best check in yet. I have been a Marriott member for 8 years now and I must say this has been my favorite stay at a Marriott property.

I just visited Los Angelas from Toronto for 5 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the West Hollywood Edition. It's a beautiful hotel and great location if you'll be going around to different places, I found it to be pretty central. The staff here are AMAZING! Very kind and attentive and fast when requesting something. I had booked two different reservations and didn't realize they were different rooms, they were nice enough to upgrade one of my reservations so I have the same room for my full stay. I loved our room, spacious, clean, modern and loved the Le Labo toiletries, the smell was heavenly in our room and throughout the hotel! There are several places to eat onsite, sadly I didn't get a chance to try the Ardor restaurant, which is beautiful as I was out from morning until evening everyday. The pool looked great as well overlooking the city, if you're a pool person, they have a great rooftop pool! Valet service was top notch, very fast and easy to use with a texting service. The only thing is that it's $70 a day, which I find a bit steep. There's also a $35 resort fee a day, which I'm confused about as well. All in all I loved the hotel and the staff are great here, highly recommend!

overweight short women manager was very rude and not accommodating. We came in with group of girls hoping to spend some time by the pool. She was rude and pretended like the pool area was sold out/ we couldn't get in. When we finally got to our cabanas the pool area was completely empty. We spent over $2000 on two cabanas and she made our trip not easy/ enjoyable. Other staff was so nice and helpful.

Review your bill closely. I checked out and never received my folio but saw on my credit card I was charged over $500. I called and found they charged me for my room even though I booked with points. I was also not credited for a restaurant bill that my $35 destination fee should have covered. Two errors on my bill. They took care of it immediately but you should review bill closely.

I have a hard time writing bad reviews but because of the service I feel like I have to. We came for the weekend to celebrate my moms 70th birthday - and because of what she’s used to I weighed all the options of 5 star hotels in the area HEAVILY. We ultimately went with the edition because of the design and the rooftop views, but I was nervous since I’ve never stayed at one of Marriott’s upper tier hotels and because of experiences with Marriott in the past I was taking a chance.A few days before the trip, hospitality emailed me to ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay more special. I emailed and asked to arrange flowers, cake, and some wine for my mom to be available when she arrived. They followed up promptly and everything went well over email. I also asked how early we could check in because my mom would be arriving at 10am and they said it would be noted on our reservation and that checkout for everyone was noon (promising)When we arrived (nobody opened the car door for us or helped us with our bags, which is standard at a 5 star hotel) they said that my moms room, because it was a terrace studio, had a checkout time of 4pm so the room might not be ready until 6pm. I was upset but they assured me they’d do everything they could and that they would call me as soon as they had an update. I saw the flowers I ordered waiting at the front desk so I pointed that out to them and asked for them to make sure that they were in the room when we checked in.We all spent the day at the pool (which, shout out to jeremy, had great service while we were there) but I never received a phone call from reception. I went downstairs twice to check on the progress of the room and to remind them that flowers cake and wine should be there when we check in.At 3:45 they call and say the room will be ready in ten minutes, so we go downstairs to get the key (we’ve been waiting for the room for 5 hours by now) and of course, once we go upstairs, there are no flowers or cake or wine in sight. Charlie at the desk apologized but I said we had to leave for a reservation and wouldn’t be back until 8. Spencer, who I assumed was a manager of some sort, was unapologetic and made excuses for the flowers not being in the room. Charlie comped the cost of the champagne and gave us some food and beverage credit which I was grateful for. It’s weird that staff is nicer than management…When we got home from dinner our flowers and cake and champagne were there but the card for my mom had my name on it even though I gave them her name via email days before. When I went down to my room, her card had been placed in my room. I get that mix ups happen but after so many mistakes that day it would have been nice for them to get it right. The next day my mom had ordered room service and set aside some tea bags she wanted to keep for later and placed them on a tray with her medication. When we got home from our brunch the tray, along with her prescription pill bottle was gone. She started to panic and called downstairs and I guess they had found the pill bottle, thankfully, but were waiting for her to call them to bring it back to her? I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just bring it back immediately. It’s dangerous to accidentally clean up someone’s prescription pill bottle.I’ll honestly spare the rest of my complaints on service but all of the couches are stained, the windows outside the rooftop bar are dirty, the bathroom door in the room didn’t work and the closet full length mirror is a funhouse mirror (not exaggerating, your hips become twice the size of your upper body).I want to thank and shout out Sarah and Charlie for being so apologetic at the front desk. Thank you for comping our room service. I just have to be honest and say that this hotel doesn’t really deserve a 5 star rating because of the service. Which is a bummer. I feel like I promised my mom an amazing weekend and she was just inconvenienced at every turn.

Normally, I am not at a loss for words, but our recent stay at the West Hollywood Edition Hotel left me speechless. My family has stayed at their properties in New York , Miami Beach and Dubai and never experienced any issues like this.It started with the extremely congested and unorganized Valet Parking area. The man who took our car was not very friendly.Once inside, we headed to the front desk. Again, I had no welcoming feeling as we checked in. On other occasions when interacting with the front desk, a manager named Juan was very condescending and aloof. I also observed him being very rude to other hotel guests, including raising his voice. This was extremely unprofessional on Juan's part.As far as our suite was concerned, I did notice some stains on our towels. I called Room Service to place a dinner order, but it took quite awhile to receive it and multiple items were cold.Apparently, I observed many "ladies of the night" making themselves comfortable in multiple locations of this hotel. In summary, although the hotel is in a good location, they really need to reevaluate many aspects of this 5 star hotel and make all their guests feel Welcomed and Safe.

Disappointing experience. Carelessness and lack of attention to detail from certain staff. Unfortunately, I would not recommend and will not be returning.Pulling into the hotel driveway, we were completely ignored by the valet staff who appeared to be chatting amongst themselves. After 5 minutes of sitting and waiting, we got out of the car to approach them and ask for help. They ushered us to move our car to a specific spot and brought out a cart for our belongings. Check in was a smooth process although the front desk staff clearly showed favor to certain guests by allowing them to cut the line of those of us who were patiently waiting. The bellman who helped us was very kind and considerate. When we arrived at our room, we were shocked to find that it was not ready for us. Although the bed was made and the room appeared clean, the room was missing towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, etc. We needed to head out quickly so we didn't have time to request these items until we returned later that evening, at which point the items were brought to our room. My husband had ordered flowers to be set up in our room prior to our arrival, and those were also missing. As we were walking out of the hotel, he received a phone call saying there was a delivery at the door. Someone brought the flowers up and just dropped them off outside. We had to return to our room just to pick them up and bring them inside, which definitely took away from the experience. Later that evening, despite having the privacy sign on our door, housekeeping staff came in while we were getting dressed. This was incredibly upsetting. We couldn't wait to check out at this point. Our one positive experience here was the room service we ordered for brunch the following morning before checking out. We ordered an assortment of menu items and each one was terrific. Sadly, that is not enough of a reason to return. This experience fell very short of expectations for an EDITION hotel.

We had a fabulous stay at the Edition in West Hollywood. The service was fantastic and they were so incredibly kind to recognize our recent engagement with a welcome gift. Rooms are lovely and they have my favorite hotel pool in LA. The only downsides are the crazy high resort fee and absurd parking charge.

Stayed here and was immediately appalled at the lack of cleanliness. The carpets are all stained and disgusting, multiple guests room service plates stacked up in the hallway, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The staff is also condescending. Definitely not worth the money spent. Disappointing as I thought it was a higher end hotel.

This place is luxury designed as a cheapskate. We got charged a completely made up 'smoking fee' of $750. When I called management to ask what it was about (I was there with a friend; neither of us smoke) I was told housekeeping found "evidence of smoking" but oddly, no one could say what that "evidence" was. Management could not have cared less. Will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this complete scam of a business. Considering legal action tbh.

I Have Stayed in this hotel many times, this time may very well been my last . I am Platnum Elite Bonvoy Member , The hotel was late getting me checked into my room . They did give me a food and drink credit . What they did not tell me is the room they put me in was basically over the entry of hotel 7 th floor # 712 . They didn't tell me there was going to me load music band across the street at midnight till 2 am that woke me from a dead sleep .there was no way to filter the noise . even cotton in your ears .I ordered room service , pasta dish , asked for a roll or bread on the side , they said they had no bread , I said fine no bread . The dis showed up with a roll .Keep in mind this is a Top Bonvoy Marriott Hotel Choice . Room rate's 700-1200.00 per night . margarita in bar 30.00 / pasta dish and small ice cream 60.00 . I Mean get with program folks .I left hotel very early as my night sleep was shot . im hope exhusted and need to have a nap . That was part of the reason for my visit a little rest and relaxation .

I wish that I could have given this hotel a five star review and recommend it but unfortunately no. I came to stay for the weekend for my birthday, yes the hotel is nice, the location is great. But customer service is awful when it comes to your personal items in your hotel room. The day that we checked out i noticed I had cash missing from the safe. I made a report, with the security team at the hotel. We checked out, flew home and the next day I was told that there was nothing found that would have caused cash to come up missing and that it would be sent to Marriott for a insurance claim. ONE month goes by after reaching out multiple times about the situation and I would get no where with my cash that was missing from my room. Finally when I put corporate emails, manager emails, etc. all together I finally get a response. But, the response was that the hotel, mangers, the claim adjuster all had been trying to get in touch with me multiple times which was a lie. When I finally went further with trying to get this resolved, I still got no where with what happened. I was told that the hotel has no responsibility if your items come up missing from the hotel room. Mind you, a hotel that is a couple thousand a night to stay at times, or that you have all you personal items in a hotel that you are trusting to keep your things safe. But I am told that I there is nothing that Marriott or The West Hollywood Edition hotel can do except tell me that it is not their fault that this happened. For a whole month to go by, not getting answers from anyone, being told it was being sent to the Marriott Insurance claims department, to me it seems that something wasn't right. It was all very odd and suspicious to me that I could never get an answer to my cash being taken out of my room. I would not recommend this hotel. I want my items to be safe, untouched and un bothered. This did not happen. Make sure to keep all your belongings with you at all times at this location if you do not want it stolen.
