Gemma Collins has confirmed that she will be returning to Dancing On Ice this weekend after taking a nasty fall on the ice during Sunday night's show. The GC, who is partnered with Matt Evers, performed a routine to Celine Dion's 'It's All Coming Back To Me', but accidentally fell to the floor towards the end of it.

Despite that, she was awarded her highest score of the series so far, but has been seen in a wheelchair this week pushed by her boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent on account of the bruising to her knees.

She's now taken to Twitter to reveal that she will return to the ice this weekend with a video of herself lying on a gurney alongside the caption, 'Il be back Sunday guys 💕 @dancingonice 💕🙏🏻💕 so grateful it could have been a lot worse .... thank you to the amazing paramedics and physio team.' sic

Fans of the TOWIE star were relieved that Gemma would be back on screen, and took to the comments to share their joy. One wrote, 'Our gal Gemma is making a comeback!' whilst another added, 'The GC is back!' and one other commented, 'Glad you are okay, you're doing so well, don’t let them knock your confidence.'

Joe Swash, 2020

Joe Swash and Alex Murphy took home the 2020 trophy, despite Diversity's Peri Kiely being the bookies favourite since the beginning of the competition.

However, it wasn't all plain sailing for Joe throughout the competition. Not only did he find himself at the bottom of the leaderboard in week three and have an ear infection, he also had to swap professional dance partners after Alexandra Schauman fell and injured herself during rehearsals, forcing her to drop out of the show.

Ray Quinn, 2009

The X Factor star-turned-Broadway star Ray Quinn won the show in 2009 alongside his professional partner Maria Filippov. The couple beat out journalist Donal MacIntyre and his partner Florentine Houdinière with their final performance. He also won the returners' series in 2014.

Hayley Tamaddon, 2010

Corrie and Emmerdale actress Hayley won with second-time winner Daniel Whiston, beating Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy to the top spot. She also made it to the final of the returners' show in 2014, finishing second to Ray Quinn.

James Jordan and Alexandra Schauman won 2019's trophy despite some fierce competition from Love Island's Wes Nelson and his partner, last year's winning professional Vanessa Bauer.

Early on in the 2019 competition, James was criticized for having an unfair advantage over the other contestants because of his extensive dancing experience.

This comes after it was reported that Gemma thinks she may have "blacked out" during the routine, which could have caused the fall. A source close to the star said that her blood sugars had been low and that she hadn't "felt right."

The reality star shared a video of the moment on Instagram, revealing that although she was 'devastated and embarrassed', she was determined to 'get back up and carry on', even adding that she was looking forward to this weekend.

Despite many viewers claiming that Gemma 'faked' the fall for attention, she has been determined to get back on the ice and will return on Sunday 3rd Feb at 6pm on ITV.
